Precision Machinery Systems, Inc. was founded in 1994. The product lines manufactured by Precision have a very long history and respected reputation in the industry. Both the AUTO-PAK and INTERNATIONAL DYNETICS trash compactor product lines originated in the late sixties, while the TORONITA densifier product line was developed in early 1990 when recycling became an important issue. Our manufacturing facility, located in York, Pennsylvania, offers complete in-house manufacturing, from fabrication to final assembly, painting and testing .Precision Machinery Systems, Inc., established in 1994, is an industry leader in the manufacture of waste compaction and recycling equipment. Our AUTO-PAK and INTERNATIONAL DYNETICS trash compactor lines set the standard for quality, reliability and longevity in the industry. These products are designed for use in high rise apartment buildings, office buildings, restaurants, hospitals, schools and various other institutions. Two different types and a wide variety of models are available to meet your specific needs. The two types are: Horizontal Trash Compactors Capable of displacing up to 54 cubic yards of trash per hour, horizontal trash compactors are well suited for high volume applications.Vertical Trash Compactors With foot print sizes as small as 21 x 34 , vertical trash compactors take up much less floor space then their horizontal counterparts and are ideal for applications where installation space is at a minimum. Standard designs can be modified to meet specific installation requirements. The TORONITA product line of densification equipment was developed in 1990 to address the need for an economical way to transport expanded polystyrene products to recycling points. There are two basic machine designs available: Bulkhead Door Machines - Designed to produce a single slug of densified material.Continuous Ribbon Machines - Designed to extrude a continuous ribbon of densified material.A material prebreaker, air conveyor and storage bag over densifier hopper are also available to provide a complete densification system. The Toronita densifiers will densify polystyrene and other materials up to 25 lbs. per cubic foot, with a volume reduction of up to 50:1. Densification of 16 lbs. per cubic foot will fill a trailer with 40,000 lbs. of densified material, greatly reducing transportation costs. The machines operate on pressure, no heat or chemicals are used. The machines can also be used for densification of aluminum and metal cans. In addition, we offer replacement parts and technical assistance to our national and international distributors and clients.
