Acier Rayco

Rayco Steel (2016) inc. is a company born from the merger of Rayco Steel companies inc. and Aciers GM inc. April 01, 2016. It was in 1983 that Aciers GM inc. limited exclusively to the sale of steel.

In 1993, the company founded by the brothers Gabriel and Raynald Marchand, relocated to the Saint-Tite industrial park in a new building of 5,000 square feet. From this period, Aciers GM became one of the largest distributors of steel and plastic culvert pipes in Quebec and a major distributor of steel products in Mauricie. Over time and the evolution of the market, the company is moving towards transformation.

In 2003, after an investment of nearly $ 500,000 for the construction of a new 5,000 square foot building and the purchase of equipment, Mr. Raynald Marchand founded Acier Rayco inc. which specializes in manufacturing and processing and creates four new jobs. In 2005, to meet growing demand, another expansion was carried out.

In July 2012, following the wish of Mr. Gabriel Marchand to go out of business, Messrs Raynald Marchand, Denis Bordeleau and Étienne Charest acquired his shares.
