Viking Steel, Inc.

We are an old and new company. We have been serving the Upstate of South Carolina since 1961. Our beginnings started as Steve's Welding Service, where we were a subcontractor for steel framework erection on commercial and industrial projects.

As time passed we ventured into metal building erection, industrial equipment moving and setup a fabrication shop. Our next expansion was into industrial demolition with full range of recycling capabilities.

'The following pictures are a tribute to my father, Stephen Terry Mathis (1942-1984) and all of the original 'Steve's Welding' personnel. It was their true grit and determination that inspired me to become as one of them 'True Craft Professionals'.'
