The Past & Future

In June of 2013, Imperial Metal Industries moved into an almost 10,000 sqft building, tripling the previous size building and implementing some state of art equipment. This has been an exciting new phase in the growth of the company! Two men, one shop, and a vision. In 1983, Danny Friesen, with 32 years of experience on the pipeline, structural steel, fabrication, etc. and Harry Toews, a specialist in aluminum welding, and machining started Imperial Metal Industries. Together they took IMI into production of outdoor wood fueled hot water heaters.
