When Robin Finkenstadt founded Precision Metal Finishing in 2005, she first partnered to provide silver and tin electroplating services for a permanent mold copper foundry in Upstate South Carolina. Since that time, PMF has grown and expanded to serve the electroplating needs of major electrical manufacturers like Siemens, Square D (now Schneider), General Electric and Eaton Corp., as well as the smaller manufacturers that supply their component parts.
A State of the Art Plating Facility with Room to Grow
Today, Precision Metal Finishing technicians offer a combined 100 years of plating experience to our customers. PMF occupies approximately half of our 24,000 sq. ft., state of the art electroplating facility, and we currently run two shifts. This, along with reliable funding, gives PMF tremendous growth potential: we have room to grow, and the ability to add a third shift to meet customer demand. Additionally, our facility is ISO 9001: 2001-2008 certified, and our PLC-controlled wastewater treatment facility meets all environmental requirements of the State of South Carolina, with capacity for future growth.
