I want you to know and understand that Scrap metal is a heavy task: such as Cutting to the size of your choice, they are uncut. Loading, Transportation from the site to the Port and discharging after arriving the port. The buyer needs to be physically present to be a witness to the whole episode and to see the hectic side of it. It's for this reason that we ask for deposit payment. We can only do business if you pay 50% of the cost of the goods as logistics expenses {Cash or SBLC/MT760} and it also negotiable. After the verification of the materials and satisfy with the materials then you pay deposit for the work to go on or comment.
We need to get people together, vehicles to load from site to port, and who bear the cost of all these if not the buyers.
Let me put you in the picture on how we used to ship scrap metal out of this country. The system of shipping scrap metal out of this country is this:
2% total value will be paid to the customs And then the Customs will issue Clearance Certificate and forward it to The Ministry of Mines. The Ministry of Mines will issue Certificate of Origin, Certificate, Certificate of Ownership and Authorization of Export from The Ministry of Mines. Without all this documents we can't ship scrap metal out of this Country. It's for this reasons that we ask for 50% deposit after the verification of the materials.
