Prestige Metal Products, Inc.

Prestige was founded in 1945 and has earned a reputation over the years as a reliable, responsive, high quality provider of custom sheet metal fabrication services. In addition they increased their service offering by adding contract manufacturing and assembly to fabrication services and upwards of 90% of their business now come from repeat orders. Prestige has remained competitive by investing in modern machine tools and computer systems to improve quality, service, productivity, efficiency, and capacity. Furthermore they are currently located in a single 20,000 sq. ft. facility based in Illinois with 25 employees. They have current annual sales of $3-5 million and have the goal as well as the capabilities to increase sales to over $8 million.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

A partial list of our facility includes: Bystronic 5200 Watt CNC Laser System, Cincinnati CNC Laser System, Wiedemann Centrum CNC Turret Punch Press, (2) 10 ton Presses, 25 Ton Press, 65 Ton Press, Multiple Cincinnati 90 Ton Hydraulic Forming Presses. In addition to multiple pieces of welding, grinding, polishing, shearing and sawing, fastener insertion equipment.

QUALITY/CERTIFICATIONS

Each operation of each job is accounted for by using bar coded routers scanned at one of several network stations throughout the facility. Because this improves control and allows job progress to be watched in real time by management. Prestige’s written quality control program is based on compliance with ISO 9001:2008.

Prestige-manufactured stainless steel parts are in soft ice cream machines and topping dispensers. Finally in many food cooking machines in many brand name fast food restaurants. They are looking to expand their presence in these markets as well as in any market that may require their services.
