R.E.F. Machine Company, Inc.

1964

• The Fowler family started Business in basement of their house on Mack Road.
• Hired Frank Koba as our first full time employee. Frank to this day, after 47 years, still works for R.E.F. part time.

1965

• Moved growing Business into the basement of Powerhold Inc. in Rockfall.

1969

• Purchased the Pistol Shop in Rockfall and moved the Business in the larger space.

1974

• Sold interest in Business and started new Shop at 24 West Street in the old Middlefield Coal & Grain Co.

1978

• Purchased this property from Harry Link and proceeded to expand many times over the years.

1985

• Purchased first CNC machine, still in operation today. We now have a total of six CNC machines.

Today

• Over the years R.E.F. Machine Company employed as many as fifteen people at one time.
• The company now operates with only five employees, most with over twenty years with the company
