George Costan founded Southern Air in 1946. Through the years, Southern Air has grown into a company that not only provides world class residential support, but is also a full service design/build commercial, industrial and institutional contractor with more than 850 employees in Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

Southern Air offers design, installation and service of heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and piping systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

Southern Air Residential offers heating and air conditioning installations and repairs, service agreements, 24/7 emergency customer support, indoor air quality control to include carbon monoxide testing, electrical services and generator installation.
