Sundown Metals is a hot rolled carbon steel coil toll processing service offering light and heavy gauge leveling and cut-to-length processing (16 gauge through 1/2”) to coil steel importers, distributors and mill-direct end users throughout the Gulf Coast Region. Our seven acre, 55,000 square foot facility is strategically located adjacent to the Port of Houston and rail lines for fast, economical handling and storage of inbound coils up to 25 ton max coil weight, with ample yard storage to accommodate approximately 20,000 tons total coil storage capacity.

We operate two automated decoiling, leveling and cut-to-length shearing lines designed for shearing/blanking of hot rolled carbon steel coils from 16 gauge x 48” wide, up through 1/2” thickness x 96” wide, with sheared end product blank length up to 480” (40 ft).
