Our business opened in 1961 with a bare 2 acre piece of land, one tow truck and the vision of one man: Sheldon Forest. Along With his wife Gail, a two year old daughter Lori and a four-month old son Eric, this vision has not only become a prosperous family owned and operated business serving the Lewis-Clark valley and surrounding area for over 50 years, but a second home for some 22 employees. Forest Auto Parts now operates on 30 acres and has grown into a truly green recycling facility. We sincerely care about the environment in which we live and raise our children. Automotive recycling is more than just providing quality, affordable used parts to our customers. It is about processing a Vehicle's 'End of Life'. This includes reclaiming the fluids (oils, coolant, and refrigerant) and batteries. We also remove mercury switches, and other hazardous materials from the vehicle for proper and safe disposal. This helps keep our community clean and safe for generations to come.
