J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. originated in Nampa, Idaho in 1954 when founders Sumner M. Johnson and Robert W. Underkofler formed a consulting engineering partnership. In 1962, William W. Briggs joined the team and in 1969, Johnson Underkofler & Briggs was formally incorporated as J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc.Gateway Mapping, Inc. and The Langdon Group, Inc. add strength to the J-U-B family of companies by offering industry leading GIS and public involvement expertise.Since our inception, J-U-B has been one of the leading consulting engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West. Through steady and sustainable growth, J-U-B now employs nearly 300 people in 15 offices.
