Porcupine Engineering Services is a professional services firm providing clients with a comprehensive range of services including multi-discipline engineering (conceptual and detailed design), project management, planning & scheduling, feasibility studies, cost estimates, procurement, shop inspection & field services, construction management, commissioning and start-up, and production & maintenance support. We also offer a number of professionals who can be deployed on secondment basis to suit all of your company's needs. On secondment the employee will complete duties assigned by you, the client.  Our clients fall into various industry sectors including mining, industrial, forestry, energy, municipal infrastructure and environment.  With offices in Timmins and Sudbury, our team is composed of professional engineers, project managers, technologists, technicians, coordinators and support staff. We have associations with a number of specialists and other consultants to enable us to provide a broader range of services.

Mario Colantonio, Frank O’Donnell and Brian Emblin founded Porcupine Engineering Services in Timmins in 2004, bringing a combined total of 50 years of experience to the firm. After several years of sustainable growth, the company opened a Sudbury office in 2011 to better service its increasing client base.Since its inception in 2004, Porcupine Engineering Services has been providing a variety of engineering services, from feasibility studies to detailed design and commissioning, to clients in the mining and mineral processing industry. Specializing in brown field engineering, our range of experience enables us to complete projects from inception through design, tendering and construction. Our expansive network of affiliate firms provides us with additional capabilities in process engineering, as well as mine planning and mine design. PES has worked with major mining clients on a variety of projects including detailed engineering designs for mill expansions, installations of equipment, and installation of structures.
