Diamond Steel was founded in 1928 by Clarence Smith, Sr. Today, 70 years later, president Dave Collins leads a firm specializing in steel erection, 'in-plant' maintenance, crane and industrial equipment rentals, and industrial hauling. Serving primarily Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Ohio, Diamond Steel also works in Western PA, Northern West Virginia, and occasionally Cleveland, Toledo, and Southern Michigan. Diamond crews have experience erecting structural steel, assisting with building or plant repairs, erecting overhead cranes and handling concrete reinforcement assignments.
