Vertex Fasteners, located in Des Plaines, Illinois, was founded in 1992 and purchased by Leggett & Platt in 1998. ISO 9001:2008 certified, Vertex develops, manufactures, and distributes fasteners, fastening tools, and fastening machines used in the assembly of a wide range of products in various markets. Those markets include upholstered furniture, bedding, automotive seating, cages and traps, fencing, and razor wire.  Our products are distributed worldwide through a combination of direct sales representatives, distributors, and agents.  We're proud to be part of Leggett & Platt, a company that pioneered sleep technology when it introduced its bedspring in 1883. The company has since grown to become a diversified manufacturer, conceiving, designing, and producing a wide array of products found in most homes, offices, and vehicles.
