Ever since we built our first electric-gas automobile in 1908, the wheels have always been turning at Fleming Gray, that unique Automobile was the brainchild of Eddy Fleming, new car dealer and entrepreneur. He had a knack for finding new ways to stay ahead of the competition.

When World War II put his car dealership on hold, he converted his service garage into a precision machining shop.In 1946, he designed and developed skate sharpening and paint shaking equipment and business took off. When he sold his business to his son-in-law, David Gray in 1963, the company focused their product lines and streamlined their equipment.

In 2009, employees of Fleming Grey’s third generation took over the business and renamed it MDF Industries Inc. Fleming Greys original thinking continues to fuel our skate sharpening and paint shaking equipment today. We are constantly on the look-out for innovative technology to keep our equipment leading our industry.
