Composite Company, Inc.

Composite Company Inc. was founded in 1973 by Gary Hawkins and Albert Rohrbacher.  With their extensive experience and knowledge, Composite Company was started to weld shear connectors in the field for buildings and bridges.  Gary Hawkins had been a Nelson Stud Welding field representative and Albert Rohrbacher was the owner at Kurtis Steel before starting Composite Company.  In 1976, Gary Hawkins became the sole owner of Composite Company Inc.

Composite Company Inc. has grown to be the leader in welding shear connectors in the field on bridges and buildings in Boston and throughout New England.  Composite Company expanded into bridge erection and repair.  Today, our bridge division has developed into an important asset to our business and we have completed multiple large scale projects both in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
