Emtech Machining

Established in 1957, Emtech Machining & Grinding, Inc. (formerly G&H Production MFG., Inc.) is a manufacturer of precision machined parts, as well as conventional machining and O.D. grinding. Our machines are capable of running orders in small quantities up to thousands and ranging in size from 2” in diameter to 18” in diameter by 48” in length.  We offer the highest of standards in our quality assurance program which meet military MIL-A-8625C specifications. We also provide SPC and are currently developing our inspection to be QS9000 certified. Our success lies in producing high quality products everyday and keeping that quality to satisfy our customers. This requires a high level of efficiency with hi-tech inspection equipment. Emtech provides timely, quality machined parts, and is proud to be part of the machine skill trade in the manufacturing sector for more than 50 years.  Emtech has built its reputation on working with our customers requirements and building a strong partnership with turning, milling, drilling, O.D. grinding, etc. We have outside sources for heat treating, plating, anodizing, hobbing, and broaching. Our vendors meet all of our inspection requirements by certification, therefore making Emtech a versatile company to accommodate customer needs.

EMTECH has proudly supplied the greater Chicago Land area as well as other areas in California, Iowa, North Carolina & Wisconsin with precision machining services since 1957.  EMTECH takes advantage of its state of the art facility  and sophisticated inspection equipment to produce machine parts to exact specifications, using a variety of materials.  EMTECH is sophisticated in working with a variety of prints and metals including stainless steel and aluminum.  The production revolution was underway when CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Machines were designed.  Emtech MachineEMTECH uses CNC Machines to produce parts that meet precise dimensions and customer requirements.   We offer the highest standards in our quality assurance program which meet military MIL-A-8625C specifications. Our success lies in producing high quality parts, in a efficient work environment, with highly skilled key personnel.  EMTECHs facility houses a variety of both milling and turning machines.  We have the capabilities to machine virtually any configuration with these machines as well as our horizontal and vertical machining centers and manual lathes.  We also have manual equipment for drilling, tapping, knurling and milling.  EMTECH has the capabilities to make and customize fixtures and tools to assist with any job. Our devoted Quality Assurance department is dedicated to helping with part design and/or Emtech Machinetroubleshooting casting and pattern problems.
