Mighty River Recycling

With over 80 years of combined experience in the recycling business, our team has built Mighty River Recycling from the ground up. It all started in 2007 with Todd Peckham (owner), a few employees, one steel dump, and a CAT325. MRR has since grown substantially. We owe a lot of credit for our success to Amsted Rail, a local steel foundry who we hold an exclusive arrangement with. This arrangement includes supplying Amsted with all their ferrous scrap needs. By 2011 Mighty River Recycling had purchased their main operating yard located in Madison IL. Later, another location was added in East St.Louis IL. Due to hard work, unmatched service, and competitive pricing, our team has built the company to be one of the key market participants for ferrous and non-ferrous materials in the St.Louis area. We greatly appreciate our monthly generated scrap from the various accounts we serve across, but not limited to, the midwest.​
