Howard Wurgler set out to build something larger than himself. He always liked building things as a kid, and loved riding motorcycles. His vision for Midwest Stairs & Iron began in a garage during the early 1980s. The structure for Midwest Stairs & Iron began with Best Welding in 1980, which was a structural steel and erecting company.  Today, Howard’s personal vision for Midwest Stairs & Iron is to help set people on a path towards a positive future, to maintain a safe working environment, and to continually improve the product for client’s needs. The growth of Midwest Stairs & Iron is the sum of its clients, employees, and product.
