Blue Rhino has been in the waste disposal and recycling equipment industry since 1995. Prior to starting Blue Rhino, our founder played a key role in building the nations largest Compactor rentalcompany, placing in excess of 3,000 units in 5 years.

In the late 90’s Blue Rhino was one of the industry’s largest sales and service companies in the Southwest. In 2001 we downsized back to just family and friends and got out of the service business.

 

For many years we had our equipment manufactured for us. In 2008 many of our suppliers went out of business, or beganre-prioritizing their product lines. After failing to find satisfactory new suppliers for certain products, we decided to go back to manufacturing some of our own equipment. We currentlymanufacture our line of Auger Compactors, as well as Carts and Cart Dumpers as part of our systems. While we have remained a small family business, and primarily sell factory-direct, our client list includes some of the worlds largest companies and government agencies.
