Conviently located in Taylorville IL, midway between Springfield and Decatur IL, 100 miles from St. Louis, MO and 200 miles from Chicago, MIDSTATE is in a great location to receive and ship steel and scrap iron to end markets.

Material is received from governmental, industrial, and commercial sites, as well as local citizens, sorted, graded and accumulated at our Taylorville, IL plant for shipment to steel mills, smelters, foundries and other major yards for further processing.

We are always buying any grade of scrap iron and metals you may have and our service and prices are among the best in the industry.

Under no circumstances will we accept any appliances or electric motors containing capacitors with PCB's or any radio active materials. We do not accept any hazardous materials.
