Liberty Landfill

Since 1985, Liberty Environmental Landfill has provided south central Michigan with up-to-date facilities utilizing state-of-the-art engineering, construction, monitoring and operating processes.  The landfill is constructed with double clay and double composition liners.  It has a leachate collection and monitoring system designed to ensure protection of the environment long into the future, providing peace of mind for our customers.  We are committed to responsible recycling, waste transfer, and disposal in our efforts to meet the needs of industry, homeowners and businesses.

Locally owned and operated since 1985, the landfill works closely with and is licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

The landfill offers a unique paved and sheltered drop-off site for most waste.  The landfill can not accept liquids of any kind or waste that contains liquids.  No hazardous waste of any type allowed or any other types of materials that may harm the landfill per DEQ Regulations.
