Volkert Precision Technologies, Inc.  Manufacturer of precision metal stampings with medium to high volume production run capabilities. Stamped products include Multi-Slide® and Four-slide components, Progressive Die Stampings and Deep Drawn Parts in materials including aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper and a variety of exotic alloys.

In-house services include design, EDM wire tooling and bar coding. Other production services include, but are not limited to, soft soldering, silver brazing, TIG welding, arc welding, heat treating and plating along with precision sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly. Specialty metals included.

Our capabilities include:

High Volume Progressive Die, Deep Drawn, Multi-Slide Stampings:

High volume production of generally small components of light gauge materials; using virtually any raw material that can be stamped on progressive die, transfer press (eyelet), and fourslide/multi-Slide machines. These diverse capabilities allow selection of the most efficient manufacturing technology for the application and the most material efficient production technique. Having all these capabilities under one roof significantly differentiates us from most of our competitors.

In-House Tooling & Finishing:

Volkert has an extensive toolroom for in-house manufacture of all tooling and an experienced tool and die design staff. Toolroom capabilities include state of the art wire EDM and high speed small hole EDM. A substantial tumbling and degreasing capability rounds out a very complete facility.

Volkert serves many markets and counts most major electronics companies among its customers. Other markets include Cathode Ray and other Tube manufacturers; Telecommunications; Connectors; Surge Protection; Bearings; Potentiometer; Automotive; Semiconductor; Relay; Computer; Photographic Suppliers and medical industries.

Fabricated Products and Assemblies:

Unique expertise in the production and assembly of physically larger parts in generally smaller volumes complete our full service metalworking capabilities. Our niche is in large drawn parts, medium volume precision sheet metal fabrication and sophisticated mechanical assembly. Markets for our assemblies and fabrications include the food service industry; instrumentation; security device; photo supply and medical supply fields. The fabricating group utilizes its own battery of presses, special purpose trimming machines, welding, riveting and assembly equipment which are generally speaking specific to our customers’ needs.

In conjunction with its sister companies, Romac Electronics Inc. and Y & Z Precision Inc., machined components in difficult materials to electronics industry and military standards with full certifications and SPC documentation are readily available.

Volkert has deep roots in precision metalworking. It's proud of its existing domestic and international customer relationships and hopes to continue to grow that base by doing more and different kinds of work for its traditional customers while expanding its customer base to include new custom metalworking opportunities with new customers in new markets.
