Goodyear blimps

Goodyear blimps have adorned the skies since 1925 and are among the most recognized brand icons. In the 1930s, Goodyear built airships for the US Navy. Our blimps served America as aerial aircraft carriers, surveillance airships protecting merchant ships and early warning radar stations through the 1950s. Beginning in the 1960s, Goodyear began providing aerial images to television networks and remain today. Today, our fleet consists of two active airships - Wingfoot One in Pompano Beach, FL. and Wingfoot Two in Akron, OH.
