A&E Plastics, LLC

A&E Plastics was founded in 1982 by Maynard Ostrowski & John Vlnka, both Journeymen Moldmakers. Located in Chicago, A&E focused on building and maintaining injection molds coupled with the ability to run parts in a variety of engineered resins. Changes to tools were done quickly in-house.

Starting with two CNC milling machines and two injection molding presses, the business has grown in size and sophistication over the years, including the addition of numerous secondary operations such as Assembly, Pad Printing, Sonic Welding, Heat Staking, 5-Axis Trimming and Painting.

Currently located in a custom-built 40,000 square foot building in Elgin, Illinois, A&E Plastics operates 11 injection molding presses, ranging from 45 to 400 tons. Our quality system has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2001 and a plant-wide ERP system keeps the business running smoothly.
