Charleston Awning & Metal Company Inc. came to being the mid 1940's as a small manufacturing firm engaged in the production of patented aluminum 'Air flow' Awnings.  Although this style of awning is no longer available we continue to fabricate traditional 'Step-down' aluminum awnings as well as standing seam awnings.  Patio covers , Screen rooms and car ports for both the residential and commercial markets are also part of our business.  

Over our 60+ years we've continually added  to our product line.  We design and fabricate wrought iron railings, fence and gates.  In years past these were fabricated of true wrought iron, however in today's world wrought iron is in short supply and when available its quality is unknown and its price a premium. 

We hand forge tables, lamp bases, headboards, fireplace screens, planters as well as built to order architectural features. 

With steel being the trade standard we also work in aluminum, brass, bronze and copper.
