Marquette County Solid Waste

The Marquette County Landfill is owned by the municipalities of Marquette County, supervised by an elected Board of Trustees, and overseen by the Authority Director. The Landfill offers many waste disposal and recycling services to Marquette County residents, including drop-off recycling, curbside recycling, household hazardous waste collections and a drug take back program.The Authority is committed to the best management of the county’s solid waste through education, recycling, and proper disposal in order to protect the environment.  The Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority shall set solid waste management policy and solid waste system implementation in consultation with the Marquette County Board of Commissioners and the Marquette County Planning Commission.
