Since 1970, Maksteel has taken pride in being a World Class Steel Service Center. Maksteel processes over 3000 tons on a daily basis, providing a wide variety of products to a broad range of industries. We stock an extensive inventory of flat rolled coil products, available to be processed to your needs. With over 165 employees our ability to consistently exceed our customer's expectations continues to be the foundation of Maksteel's success.

Located in Mississauga, Ontario, our 200,000 square foot indoor facility is situated on 27 acres. Our equipment includes five slitters that are specifically designed to maximize efficiency by streamlining the production processes. Maksteel has a 250,000 square foot gantry yard that allows for further storage capacity and direct access connecting to North America's Railway system. In addition our own fleet of over 100 trailers on site positions us to service all of our customers’ needs.

Processing Capabilities

With five full slitting lines, Maksteel provides a full range of slitting capabilities from light to heavy gauge, (0.009' to 0.600'). Our equipment also can accommodate coil widths up to 72'.All of our processing lines are highly efficient, equipped with dual slitting heads enabling quick production changeovers thus reducing costs.The slitters are equipped with gamma ray technology that enables Maksteel to take continuous, real time thickness readings so as to produce a histogram for each coil.Maksteel has a controlled 200,000 sq.ft. warehouse for staging as well as a 250,000 sq.ft. outdoor gantry yard to stage hot rolled black material.Our equipment and capacity enables us to process over 700,000 tons of material annually.
