EAB IRONWORKS

Elliott Barletta, a State College, PA native, founded EAB Ironworks in the fall of 2015. After high school, he moved away and completed a two year program in welding and fabrication in Pittsburgh, PA where he received his certifications necessary to work in the welding industry that included: D1.1 and D1.5 structural steel code, and ASME Section 9 Critical Piping. He went on to work in the water tower and natural resource containment construction field, a structural steel shop specializing in prefabricated building structures, then a shipyard specializing in barge manufacturing and repair, and also the railroad where he worked as a tank car welder. He spent the last ten years though, working in and supervising a fabrication shop, where he worked on shop and field projects alike. Some of which included: 

• The expansion of the Graymont lime mine.
• The Hawbaker stone quarries and asphalt plants.
• The construction of the State Correctional Institution at Benner
• The Flight 93 memorial.
