In 1972 Jim Gonsalves established Concord Iron Works, Inc. specializing in ornamental iron. In 1980, he pursued the commercial structural steel market and never looked back. After Jim’s unexpected passing in 1994, his three children retained ownership and along with other family members, and dedicated employees, have continued his vision.Since 1980 CIW has completed over 1,500 projects in the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento Valley.The goal of Concord Iron Works is to stay competitive, produce quality work and meet our customer’s needs
