Marathon Petroleum Company LP's (MPC's) marketing organization is recognized as a consistent leader in the petroleum industry. MPC provides transportation fuels, asphalt and specialty products throughout the United States. Our comprehensive product line supports commercial, industrial and retail operations.  Through our marketing organization, MPC is a large wholesale supplier of gasoline and distillate to resellers and consumers within its market area. Light products are sold through 62 company-owned and approximately 118 third-party terminals throughout 19 states. In addition, MPC is one of the largest asphalt producers in the U.S. We market asphalt through 18 owned and six leased terminals located throughout the Midwest and Southeast. We also produce and market petrochemicals and specialty products.
