B-C-D Metal Products, Inc.

Eric Bergstrom, Oscar Carlson, and Sven Dahlquist established B-C-D Metal Products, Inc. (B-C-D) in 1935, as a blacksmith shop. A major change in the company's direction came in 1953 when the company incorporated. Ralph Carlson, son of Oscar, became President, and his vision took B-C-D from wrought-iron works to supplier to the aerospace industry. The company began modern production by manufacturing small brackets, then gradually added precision tube forming and assembly to its manufacturing capabilities.
