American Steel & Aluminum Co., Inc. was founded in 1967 with 3 employees, a small fabrication shop, and some big dreams for the future. Today, we have over 70 employees located in our five fabrication facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas. We pride ourselves in providing a full range of metal fabrications for all our customers. From the custom home builder with an ornamental railing, to a parking garage with several miles of railing and large quantities of pre-cast embeds, to AESS structural steel for a museum or train platform for a mass transit rail authority - we do it all. Our dedicated group of employees stands ready to serve our client's every fabrication need.

At American Steel & Aluminum Co., Inc., we assist customers in creating unique structural steel fabrications that meet all AISC standards. Our previous projects cover everything from 3,000 feet of galvanized railing for a major sports stadium to the iconic Texas flag sculpture at Grapevine Mills Mall. Other examples of our work can be found on many architecturally exposed steel structures (AESS) throughout the state of Texas.Fabrication capabilities include CNC beam, angle, and pipe processing as well as rolling, laser cutting, and welding. Customers rely on us to provide them with a single source for all of their steel, bronze and aluminum processing needs on major commercial construction projects. In addition to fabrication, we offer galvanized or painted finishes to customer specifications. We can work with the latest building information model (BIM) packages to ensure all aspects of the project meet specifications.All fabrications are first and foremost structurally sound and meet all AISC requirements. But our capabilities extend beyond standard structural fabrications to complex ornamental designs. Spiral staircases, monumental stairs, handrails, walkways, canopies, and other structural elements that not only provide function, but leave a lasting impact on customers.
