PCA Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1961 by Edgar Dreyman and Vernon Madden as a corrosion control and cathodic protection specialist. Our early clients included many of the oil companies that are still seen today. The clientele soon spread to utilities, both natural gas and electricity, in light of their need to address corrosion of their facilities. In the early 1970s, PCA Engineering naturally extended their service set into the inspection of the same sort of structures we were protecting from corrosion: tanks (both underground and above-ground), pipelines, marine structures, cooling water piping, etc.
