Nash Industries, Inc.

Nash Industries, Inc. is a New Jersey corporation distributing materials, supplies and fabricating equipment to the engraving, award and sign trades.

The history of the company traces back to 1959 when Charlie Nash was Scoutmaster of an Explorer Boy Scout Troop. As a fundraiser for the troop, Charlie bought an engraving machine and the scouts sold nameplates. “The rest,” as they say, “is history.”

What developed from that simple beginning was one of the largest mechanical engraving shops in the Eastern United States. From there it was a natural expansion to grow into the wholesale distribution of the materials and supplies used by the trade. Nash Industries became one of the first distributors for ROWMARK plastics, JRS nameplate holders and computerized engraving systems.

Nash Industries began as, and remains today, a family owned and operated business.
