Alexander Zachary Jewelers opened in Downtown Mooresville on September 1, 1995. Owned by Bill and Denise Thunberg, the name is actually the names of their sons Zach and Alex. Bill started working in the retail jewelry business in 1966 and remained active in the business while in college and after. The slogan, “Real people, Helping Real People”, reflects Bill’s and the entire staffs attitude toward providing quality fine jewelry and professional jewelry services along with outstanding customer service in a relaxed atmosphere.
