East-Central Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative distributes electricity to more than 6700 member-owners. We energize over 8700 meters in 11 counties.

ECI REC is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative®, and is strengthened by a national alliance of local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives, consisting of over 750 cooperatives serving more than 32 million customers across the nation.

ECI REC has 2,279 miles of electric lines and employs nearly 32 people. We serve 8,700 member-accounts in 11 counties: Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Clayton, Delaware, Fayette, Iowa, Linn, and Tama.
