Independent Propane

The company was founded in 1968 as a proprietorship to sell propane and service gas appliances in Colorado Front Range communities near Conifer, Evergreen, Bailey and Pine. In 1974 it was incorporated as Action Gas Inc. Also in 1974 the owners acquired Independent Gas Company of Granby, selling propane to residential customers in Grand County. The trade name of Independent Propane Company was adopted in 1996. This web site is used by these two Colorado Corporations.
