Adkins Energy LLC

A corn-to-ethanol production facility which processes approximately 16 million bushels of corn annually into over 50 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol. Ethanol is a clean burning substitute for petroleum.

We are proud to produce and support the development of renewable fuels. We must all recognize that a simple choice to use ethanol and purchase flex-fuel vehicles that run on higher blends of ethanol will someday reduce the impact that oil prices have on our lives. 

The concept was originated from the members of the Pearl City Elevator board of directors who were looking for a way to add value to corn for local producers. The Adkins Energy Cooperative was formed out of those discussions with over 300 members made up of producers and local investors from twelve counties in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Adkins Energy LLC restructured in 2011, combining the interests of Pearl City Elevator and each of the former Adkins Energy Cooperative members. This restructuring created the opportunity for all area producers to sell their grain to Adkins with its partner Pearl City Elevator as the purchaser

Adkins Energy is proud to announce we are now marketing our DDGS. With bringing this marketing in house, we are now marketing all of our products: DDGS, Wet Cake, Ethanol, and Corn Oil.
