Pine Cliff Energy Ltd. is a public company actively engaged in the exploration, development and production of natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids.

Pine Cliff’s strategy is to provide above industry average returns in the near term for short-term investors and high rates of return for long-term investors. The company is continuing to look to acquire material asset positions to create core area(s) of production with controlled infrastructure and drilling inventories. 

The current environment of natural gas prices has created opportunities to continue to make value-adding and potentially counter-cyclical acquisitions and Pine Cliff anticipates that it will continue to be able to act quickly on acquisition opportunities identified and to fund these activities from working capital, debt or equity issues.

As it executes this strategy, the company will:

• maintain a balance sheet that will allow for more potential acquisitions but will also provide for a  sustainable model even in a low natural gas price environment;
• accelerate oil and liquids drilling and optimization activities on its current asset base; and
• focus on providing investors with superior growth through a combination of drilling and further acquisitions to increase its inventory of liquids and natural gas drilling locations.
