The company was originally formed in 1970 by Melvin Faul, with the support of his wife Rae, to provide proprietary titanium anodize processes. Since then, TFC has selectively expanded its capabilities to meet other special metal finishing needs of the market niches it served. As the coatings provided were found to perform successfully in more and more demanding aerospace and medical applications, their uses have naturally spun off into other industries. Mel believed that providing a high quality product was not enough, so he pushed for the quickest turnaround times and the best customer service, too.TFC is approved by major aerospace, automotive, commercial, consumer, electronics, food processing, manufacturing, marine, medical, military, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical products corporations. TFC does not publish customer approvals in an effort to maintain strict product confidentiality and adherence to ITAR and DDTC directives of which we are registered certificate holders. In addition to specific customer requirements, management and operators are trained to have a high attention to detail and are involved in regular meetings such as company-wide line clearance trainings.
