Battery Solutions offers end-to-end lifecycle management and customized recycling solutions for all battery chemistries throughout North America. We address the diverse needs of our customers, which include environmental and regulatory compliance, documentation, safety, logistics, reporting and the conversion of waste via the highest environmentalstandard. 

We believe the “take, make, toss” (the linear economic model) is not going to carry all of us into a thriving or sustainable future. We collect and recycle or upcycle batteries and repurpose the secondary commodities for reuse in steel manufacturing, agriculture, and new battery manufacturing, among other applications. We are constantly researching new uses in order to cut down on the mining of virgin elements and continue, “circling” materials found in batteries.

The circular economy or a “take, make, reuse” model will help to sustain our growing population. At Battery Solutions, we believe that the continued pursuit of economic prosperity and quality of life for a growing global population can only be achieved through sustainable and mindful use of natural resources. Batteries are already an important part of our everyday lives and are being used in new applications and in growing numbers as consumers of technology expect higher performance and greater flexibility. As a clean technology company we understand that this will increase the use of valuable and rare materials and create the potential that some of the chemicals used, if handled improperly, can do harm to the environment. Our unique approach to collecting, sorting, and processing end-of-life batteries means every single battery is treated based on its optimal next destination. We sort and grade batteries, which was about 40 million pounds in 2015, for reuse, repurposing or recycling seeking the best economical outcome while maintaining complete transparency and regulatory compliance.
