Established in 1941, National Flavors has over 70 years of creative flavor development experience.

Our Roots
National Flavors began as National Products in 1941. The company was founded by a flavor salesman with a passion for service and his chemist son who had a fascination with flavor chemistry and its applications. They offered a variety of ingredients for the bakery, candy, and dairy industries.
One early customer was a small start-up bakery with an entrepreneurial owner. That baker’s son would go on to purchase National Products from the now mature yet still curious chemist over 50 years later. The next generation joined the company in 2008 and National Products was renamed National Flavors to reflect its new focus on flavors.
As we look to the future, we continue to search for mutually beneficial relationships with innovative and high-quality customers. We are excited for the future and look forward to partnering with you on your next project.
