Founded by Keith Kirkland, our business has extensive experience in the manufacturing process, welding & retail steel sales and focuses on complete customer satisfaction.

About PRW Steel

PRW Steel began as Paso Robles Welding, founded in 1972 by Keith Kirkland. Keith set out with an extensive background in agricultural, industrial, and manufacturing processes to fill the area need for welding and fabrication in California's Central Coast. What began as a one-man business operating out of a pickup truck soon became a corporation encompassing three warehouses and 18 employees. 

Paso Robles Welding has played a part in a wide variety of projects, covering anything from racehorse facilities, to high frequency microwave heat sealing machines. Welding shops, construction and excavation contractors, sand and gravel companies, wineries, oil companies, state and government agencies all deal directly with Keith and his staff of experienced technicians. 

As the company grew, Keith began to see the need for a steel supply company in the area, and in the late 1980’s, PRW Steel Supply was formed. In 2007, the company was incorporated. The highly competent staff now handle fabrication and sales with a high level of expertise. From welding to plasma cutting, shearing, rolling and forming to wholesale and retail steel sales, PRW Steel Supply offers the widest range of welding services on the Central Coast.
