Engineered Recycling Company (ERC) was formed in 2000 in Charlotte, NC. We are not only experts in recycling HDPE, but we are also experts in plastics processing and we thoroughly understand what it takes to make premium plastic products.

The ERC-Charlotte facility is a 210,000 square foot specialized industrial building. We are home to the 2 largest single-shaft shredders in North America, each capable of shredding/ grinding 6,000 lbs per hour. We also utilize powerful magnets for metal removal and trommel screens for polyproylene separation and removal. Our high speed wash lines are custom engineered and our extrusion lines are specially designed for the type of material they process.
