Who we are

Tim Young, President, has a decade of experience managing all aspects electronics recycling operations, environmental compliance and has completed R2 certification for a Colorado recycler.

Ken Orashan, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, has many years of experience selling and marketing technology products and services, including five years in the electronics recycling industry.

ER3 always utilizes proven, environmentally safe processes and procedures to recycle all equipment it receives. All equipment is recycled in the USA and all hard drives are physically destroyed or sanitized to US Dept of Defense criteria.

We do three things and we do them very well.

– Electronics Recycling

Each item is logged, weighed and inspected upon arrival at our Denver processing facility.
What cannot be reused is dissembled and separated into commodities using environmentally sound procedures and in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Everything is recycled in the US, nothing is shipped overseas.

– Asset Recovery

Equipment that might be reused is tested, refurbished and resold if possible.

– Data Destruction

All data containing devices such as hard drives are either physically destroyed, and the pieces recycled, or completely sanitized to Department of Defense standards that meet or exceed the requirements of HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLB) and other local, state and federal laws and regulations.
