The family enterprise ads-tec is a manufacturer and supplier of top-quality industrial IT systems with long-term availability, as well as high-performance battery systems and complete storage solutions. Over 30 years of experience and professional expertise in systems development characterise the 100% in-house developments of ads-tec. As a medium-sized enterprise, ads-tec employs some 240 staff members at two sites in Germany. In May 2014 the headquarters were relocated from Leinfelden-Echterdingen to a new building in Nuertingen near Stuttgart. The headquarters are complemented by the production location in Wilsdruff near Dresden.

ads-tec offers a broad range of proven Industrial IT solutions for industrial deployment. The rugged Industrial PCs from ads-tec – Tablet PC, Touch Panel PC and Stacker Terminal – as well as components for Industrial WLAN, Firewalls & Routers, are 100% made in Germany. The Remote Service Cloud Big-LinX® enables easy and secure remote control and maintenance of machinery and plants. Custom products from ads-tec are customer-specific applications for medical technology from a single source.

ads-tec's Energy Storage business unit develops and delivers high-performance lithium-ion battery & storage systems. ads-tec know-how in the area of lithium-ion batteries ranges from complete storage systems for home & small business applications to scalable storage systems and complete container solutions. With the Big-LinX® cloud solution, extensive options are available in the area of energy management (including, among others, simulation, monitoring and reporting as well as local applications).

ads-tec is a board member of the German Energy Storage Association (Bundesverband Energiespeicher e.V.), on the board of StoREgio Energiespeichersysteme e.V. and member of the Solar Cluster Baden-Wuerttemberg e.V. Through the initiatives in numerous projects funded on the state and national level, ads-tec maintains close relations to businesses and research institutions along the entire value chain.
