Recycling Advocates

Formed in 1987, Recycling Advocates (RA) is Oregon's only citizen-based, grassroots group dedicated to creating a sustainable future through local efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.  The organization is run by an elected Board of Directors comprised of solid waste professionals, policy activists, local business people and dedicated volunteers who have an interest in promoting recycling and waste reduction. We share what we know. We give presentations, interviews and participate on panels. We prepare policy statements; our goal is to provide well-researched analysis, to help insure that citizens' views are expressed and that policy decisions are based on all the facts.
