Rome/Floyd County Recycling Center.

Curbside recycling is provided for all City residents one day per week (the same day as your garbage collection). Trucks will collect newspaper, plastic milk and soda containers, aluminum and steel cans, paperboard, magazines, and cardboard. All collected items are taken to the Rome/Floyd County Recycling Center. The Floyd County Remote Sites were designed as collection points for household garbage and recyclables. All sites are equipped with trash compacting units and recycle bins for paper, cardboard, cans and glass. Each site has an attendant on duty during all hours of operation. These remote sites are in operation seven days a week.
